Meet The Team

Writer/Creator: MARK LANDRY

Mark Landry

Mark Landry, the writer/creator of Bloodthirsty: One Nation Under Water, grew up in Louisiana. After graduating from LSU, he moved to Los Angeles to study storytelling at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He’s had the honor of working at both Lucasfilm and the Donner company. Since graduating from USC, he has co-written screenplays for Nickelodeon, The Disney Channel and others. He co-created the Teen Beach Movie franchise, which is one of the most watched cable TV movies in history… though it has a slightly different genre than Bloodthirsty.  😉

Project Mentor: GEORGES JEANTY

George_JeantyGeorges Jeanty is an Eisner Award winning, New York Times Bestselling Comic Book Artist best known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Seasons Eight and Nine, and Serenity: Leaves in the Wind, published by Dark Horse Comics.

I had been a fan of his miniseries, The American Way, which dealt with issues of race in a 1960s government-run superhero team. He has been an invaluable resource and an endless font of knowledge and encouragement throughout this project. Bloodthirsty would not be the same without his guidance. Visit:

I read tons of comics, and this is the kind of comic book story I really want to read. – Georges Jeanty
